Nike Go LA 10K Recap
Members of the HKP team participated in the Nike Go LA 10K on Earth Day, April 22, at the Westfield Mall in Culver City. The race started and ended at the mall where Nike set up the so-called Athlete's Village with food vendors, a stage, carnival games, and booths by Finishline and Beats by Dre.
It was a warm morning filled with thousands of athletes ready to run on the 90 freeway! You know it is a huge event when Nike closes down a freeway.
We got to meetup with some familiar faces like our good friends from Social Hour Run Club and was able to meet new faces along the way also.
At the end of the run, each participant was gifted with refreshments, snacks, a Nike water bottle and an exclusive wireless earphones from Beats by Dre specifically made for this event.
Such a successful turn out on Earth Day. We skipped the traffic and chose GO.
