Spartan Super in Laughlin 11.18
Spartan Race Super weekend at Laughlin, Nevada right before Thanksgiving was a perfect time to compete with some top notch OCR athletes. After a tough race, it was great to come back home and enjoy the holidays with friends and family.
Driving out the day before race day was probably not the smartest idea but the HKP team made it work and gave it 100% effort. The course was fairly flat with some rolling hills and sandy terrain (similar to the beach). The course started to get windy and really dusty as the day went by. Overall, the course was fast at exactly 8 miles.
It was also great to see some familiar racers from California and meet some new ones that lived around the area, either Nevada or Arizona side.
Spartan Race did a great job capturing some photos of our team and other racers that day.
A week off from training to enjoy the holidays and back to work as we prep for Spartan Race Sprint at Castaic Lake in December.
